I have been too busy to blog lately, but I have a bit of time to jot
down a few comments on things here in Chicago that have served to
tweak my interest or otherwise infuriate me. Most of the comments are
short and to the point, but I really had to fire out a bit on the
Chicago Sun-Times resident race-baiting bigot, Mary Mitchell. Read on
to find out what I have to say on a lot of things:
On October 31, 2007, a police officer was shot and killed in
Philadelphia during a doughnut shop robbery. The officer was the third
one shot by street punks over a four day period. And to think they
call Philly the "CITY OF BROTHERLY LOVE???? The other two officers
were merely wounded. The one shot in the doughnut store robbery was
killed by a bullet to the face. The shooter was located yesterday,
Tuesday, November 6th, in Miami, Florida. Lets hope and pray that he
is given the death penalty, and that they find the other thugs
involved in the previous three shootings. The seem to take shooting
cops as "sport" in Philly. It is a sick town, and it will take more
than 10,000 black men patrolling the streets to clean up that
cesspool.
On Tuesday, November 6, 2007, in Los Angeles, California, a pregnant
woman was killed and two other people were injured when a woman rammed
her car into them during a planned street fight involving as many as
30 young women, according to authorities. Looks like Los Angeles is a
cesspool as well.
A good book to read that will reveal exactly why Mayor Daley, Arnie
Duncan ( Daley's Superintendant of Schools ), and the vast majority of
parents of inner city public schools are wrong when they keep begging
the public for more money for schools so that "test scores can be
raised," is TESTED: ONE AMERICAN SCHOOL SSTRUGGLES TO MAKE THE GRADE
by Linda Perlstein ( published by HOLT BOOKS ). This book reveals how
the "no child left behind" programs only serve to make kids somewhat
better at taking test rather than truly educating them. A great, if
disheartening, read. Worth the price ( $30 ).
New York Times, Sunday, October 14, 2007, headline: Iran Cleric Calls
for boycott of Peace Talks. Ha, just what you would expect from a
cleric representing the so-called "religion of peace."
If you get a chance, get a look at page 17 / Section 1, of the
Saturday, October 13, 2007 edition of the Chicago Sun-Times. There is
a picture of rapper "50 Cent" seated next to the Mayor of Bridgeport,
Connecticut, John Fabrizi, while the mayor announces that October 12,
2007 is "50-Cent Day." My, my, my, does money ever talk. It will be a
sad day in human existence when a thug rapper deserves a personal
"day" and key to any city except for perhaps Sodom and Gommorah. Just
my opinion.
Sunday, October 14, 2007, Chicago Tribune-nice articles on why all of
us pet lovers out there should consider adopting older pets from
animal shelters, in the Oualities of Life section ( 13 ), pages 1 and
8. Older animals are often overlooked in animal shelters in favor of
puppies, kittens, and younger dogs and cats. Trust me when I say that
the oldsters can offer you a lot of love and affection as well as
total friendship. Check em out!
Sunday, October 14, 2007, Chicago Tribune-Section 4 ( Metro ), page
3-article on how some American Indians protested at the annual
Columbus Day parade here in downtown Chicago. The Indians claim that
their beef is with Columbus, nt with the Italian people. Right! Sad to
say this, but were it not for Columbus, the Spanish Conquistadors
would have come in and killed every Indian on the face of the earth.
Yeah, my Indian brothers and sisters, there would have been a worse
scene than what the Europeans brought upon you. I'm one quarter
Cherokee Indian myself, so I know a bit about what I'm talking about
here.
Sunday, October 14, 2007, Chicago Tribune-Section 4 ( Metro ), page
14A-15A-A great article by reproter Norman Parish titled "Descent into
a Hell Hole" which recounts his revisiting the Ida B. Wells public
Housing complex, where his mother grew up. "It was clean and new then,
whtih green grass and space for kids to play. It's nothing like that
now." A superb article. Read it if you can.
Ah, no time to say my stuff about Mary Mitchell, race-baiting resident
bigot at the Chicago Sun-Times. I'll do that tomorrow if I can.
Gotta' get some sleep.
